Responsibilities include:

• Analyze blueprints and other technical drawings to identify insulation requirements.
• Lay, measure, cut, install, and finish insulation.
• Handle materials such as fibreglass, foam, PVC pipe, canvas, and various metals.
• Apply caulk, sealants, or other insulation materials to ensure a tight fit.
• Create material lists and order materials by forecasting the needs of each job.
• Work with other trades and co-workers to ensure installation is installing efficiently, correctly, and safely
• Other tasks are required.

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Insulator or 4+ years experience with installing and finishing insulation
• Strong knowledge of caulking techniques
• High attention to detail and you take pride in your work
• Possess a valid and current driver’s license
• Willing to work both in a team and independently with little direction on construction sites
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work at heights, including on ladders
• Knowledgeable and proficient in the safe use of various hand tools
