Project Description

175-185 Carlton is strategically located within Winnipeg’s SHED district with direct access to the downtown’s climate-controlled skywalk and concourse systems. Redevelopment of two connected six-storey office buildings at 175/185 Carlton Street is underway with the office and residential sections occurring horizontally. The existing office tenants will be located in the north half while the south half of the building (known as 175 Carlton) is being converted to thirty-five residential apartments on levels two through six. SCMi is installing MultiAqua Hydronic systems which are energy-efficient and reduce long-term operating costs. These units can be operated with individual programmable thermostats in each suite that enable residents to control the spaces they designate.
