Southern Comfort Mechanical Inc designed and built the HVAC system for 30UC—a seven-storey, 105-unit affordable luxury residence near the University of Manitoba. Our full system operates with some of the highest thermal efficiency rates to lower energy costs and CO2 emissions. We installed forced air heating and cooling for the entire building using GHE125-500A RHEEM hot water tanks (up to 92% efficient) and a RG 5500 Central Tempeff Heat Recovery Ventilator (more than 90% efficient and ideal for cold climates). The underground parkade uses Modine Effinity™ PT260 gas-fired unit heaters (up to  97% thermal efficiency)
