Southern Comfort Mechanical Inc. designed and built the system for this four-storey mixed use building located between the Wolseley and West Broadway neighbourhoods in Winnipeg. The building includes 44 residential units, close to 12,000 sq. ft. of commercial space, and a 12,800-squarefoot parking area. Special consideration was given to the comfort, control and convenience of temperature control in the suites. The roof-mounted air conditioning units eliminate any noise concerns with having them on balconies. Each suite utilizes ceiling-hung fan coils to maximize the floor and wall space, while the individual heat recovery ventilators in each unit will reduce hallway odours and ensure each suite is well-ventilated.
