Featured Project: The Pump House

The Pump House is a mixed-use, three-phased development in Downtown Winnipeg that involved retrofitting historic water pump buildings into commercial and residential spaces. The skip-stop corridor strategy has elevators that stop on every second floor to provide a more efficient layout that cuts the circulation space in half and allows for cross-ventilation in all units. To maximize the efficiency, we installed air source variable refrigerant flow (VRF) technology to move heat from spaces requiring cooling into spaces requiring heating.
